About the Role:
This purpose of the role is to protect the business and its people by ensuring all business functions comply with company, customer and company requirements from legal, best practice and audit perspective throughout all functions of the business, whilst developing robust Health and Safety practices and improving the Health and Safety culture through behavioural H&S.

What you'll do:
- Maintain legislative compliance register to maintain ISO certification
- Participate in ISO's annual audit, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001
- Mange portals to maintain existing accreditation
- Support departments with Pre-qualification Questionnaire (PQQ)
- Support departments with through CDM on new products and projects
- Prepare Construction Phase Plans for projects
- Support supply chain in sub-contractor vetting requirements
- Review and maintain the technical files to ensure CE/UKCA marking is compliant
- Ensure compliance to meet customer contract requirements throughout the agreement
- Supply stakeholders with company accident statistics in line with company policy and legislation
- Attend regular site visits from a H&S perspective
- Ensure site audits take place to meet ISO and customer requirements, and support service engineer communications
- Produces RAMS for site works (templates for standard, specials for projects)
- Maintain RA's and COSHH assessments for both factory sites maintained
- Record, report and follow up on near misses (don't walk by), accidents and investigations
- Support / provide quality documentation for projects throughout the contract handover process
- Support with employee training and vetting requirements to meet customer and company expectations
- Update service portal with H&S / Compliance data
- Head the quarterly SHEQ meeting with site members and control measures and communications

Qualifications:
Person Specification:
- Three years' experience in an advisory role for CDM Projects, Compliance, Safety and Audits, ideally in manufacturing environment with a back ground in power and safe operations around large plant and machinery
- You'll be passionate about compliance and safety
- You'll communicate openly, transparently and effectively to ensure a high level of customer service.
- You'll be resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You'll be inquisitive and stay up to date with industry and technical changes and legislation.
- You'll be keen to work collaboratively with others to develop shared solutions.
- You'll have good levels of self-awareness, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You'll have good time management skills
