The Role
A skilled experience integration analyst. You will be working with the business and IT systems to understand, document and implement integrations between core LOB systems. You will be making use of the BOOMI platform and numerous APIs and monitoring the performance of the integrations
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the integration team to understand business requirements and design, develop, test, and deploy integrations between various systems, including Workday, IFS, and Master Data Services
- Utilize the Boomi integration platform to create and maintain data mappings, transformations, and workflows to enable seamless communication between different systems
- Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather integration requirements and ensure successful implementation of integration solutions
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing systems, identifying integration points, data dependencies, and potential areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, ensuring the stability and reliability of integrated systems
- Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the effectiveness of integration solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to understand system APIs and connectivity requirements for successful integration
- Document integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and updates to the Boomi platform to optimize integration processes
- Provide support during system upgrades, migrations, and other related projects that impact integrated systems
- Experience managing both ambiguous business requirements
- Ability to engage with and manage 3rd party suppliers
- Experience leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Person Specification:
- Ideally a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an integration analyst or similar role with a focus on system integration
- Strong proficiency in using the Boomi integration platform for connecting and orchestrating data flows between different applications and systems
- Experience with integrating enterprise systems such as Workday, IFS, and Master Data Services
- Solid understanding of data formats, protocols, and APIs
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and design effective integration solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Familiarity with other integration tools and middleware technologies
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
- Understanding of security considerations in data integration
- Relevant certifications in integration technologies or platforms
- Have an awareness of security implications of differing system architecture
- Experience of influencing business functions decisions to align differing needs
- An understanding of versioning api end points and environment management
- Very strong understanding of system integrations including REST, SOAP, Databases
- Experience of architecting and documenting, system and data flows
- Ability to document requirements and system design
- A strong knowledge of OAuth data flows and other Api authentication models
- Experience of working with a cloud provider (Azure/GCP/AWS)
