Job description
We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in front-end and back-end development, with expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and debugging. The developer is responsible for building and updating WordPress sites for our clients, maintaining their websites, and ensuring that our web properties are fully functional, responsive, user-friendly and meet our clients’ needs.
Responsibilities
•Design, develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
•Customize website templates and themes based on clients’ specifications
•Create and manage current website content using WordPress CMS
•Ensure website functionality and performance
•Optimize website speed and user experience
•Troubleshoot and debug website issues and provide technical support to clients
•Collaborate with other developers, designers, and project managers to ensure project timelines are met
Qualifications
•BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
•At least 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development
•Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
•Experience with version control systems such as Git
•Working knowledge of SEO and website analytics
•Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
•Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
