Job description

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely with a very well-established accountancy firm who’s passion for their clients is second to none to help secure them a new Tax Manager within the business due to growth within the department.

As Tax Manager within the post, you will be contributing and assisting with the leadership of the tax department.

This will involve overseeing compliance processes, reviewing compliance submissions, and supervising team members. On the advisory front, the role involves assisting in providing tax planning and advisory services to clients.

We seek an experienced Tax Manager to lead and oversee various aspects of our tax practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services to enhance the firm’s reputation.

Technical skills & responsibilities:

• Build relationships and interact with clients
• Review compliance returns
• Identify and mitigate tax risks
• Coordinate and help lead our tax team
• Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance

The ideal individual will have the following:

• Proven work experience as a Tax Manager/assistant manager
• Strong knowledge of tax, across a broad range and all types of compliance returns
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems

Qualifications:

Fully Qualified Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) Or Fully Qualified Chartered Institute of Taxations (CTA)
