The role
As a Supplier Manager IT/OT you will report directly into the Team Lead for IT Supplier Management. This exciting opportunity within the refreshed IT/OT Procurement and Supplier Management team will give you the first hand opportunityto be a part of a global team and contribute to innovative projects across all of RWE’s businesses including Renewables, Energy Trading and much more.
- Build, maintain and enhance relationships with our top(high-value and high-dependency) IT Vendors and internal stakeholders (such as IT leadership and Service Owner)
- Define, execute and improve operational governance structure and committees required whilst applying defined policies, taking ownership of process improvements.
- Provide and challenge review and direction for vendor activities ensuring that the vendor's performance meets expectations, monitoring day-to-day vendor operations and performance against service-level agreements (SLA) and contracts
- Define vendor innovation goals with strategic vendors, commonly define innovation plans and monitor execution of plan, communication to internal customers where appropriate
- Identify and align with key stakeholders and establish a clear stakeholder communication plan, identifying and implementing improvements based on customer feedback
- Execute communication plan whilst ensuring compliance with defined rules and procedures, manage compliance breaches and managing escalations as needed
- Anticipate, identify, monitor and mitigate risks associated with third party providers of IT related goods and services
- Drive actions keeping the strategic view in mind and also with the aim to improve costs, performance and mitigation of risks for the company
- Collaborate with Procurement Business Partners to capture and understand current and future demand in line with strategic planning with the relevant strategic partner to efficiently structure contract management throughout the life cycle
- Collaborate with Procurement Category Teams to Develop and define sourcing strategy and ensure performance is constantly evaluated and re-assessed, feed regular updates into the Sourcing Strategy to adapt where necessary
- Collaborate with other Team Members, delegation tasks when needed and supporting team members development.
Your Profile
- Experience in supplier managementrelated procurement practices
- Relevant IT/OT supply market knowledge, with an interest to keep abreast on current trends and threats
- High flexibility and willingness, attentive to detail and welcoming to new approaches or ideas
- Project management skills allow you to deliver to schedule/targets, but also work cooperatively with others to find win-win solutions
- Willingness to travel to our operational/office sites and key suppliers
- Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial but not essential
