Job description
This impressive broking company is looking for a technical broker to join their commercial broking team in Glasgow.
The role:
- To understand existing client business risks and to administer commercial insurance insurance programmes designed for the protection of the client against these risks.
- Provide day to day servicing and administration of allocated clients insurance programmes in a timely, technically accurate and cost effective manner, in accordance with procedures and performance standards
- Assist in developing less experienced members of staff by imparting knowledge and expertise
- Build strong working relationships with clients and insurers.
- Working closely with directors, executives, claims and risk management team.
The person:
- You should have minimum 5 years commercial insurance broking experience
- Knowledge of Acturis would be preferred
- A good knowledge of commercial insurance products including motor, EL, PL, property, commercial combined, etc.
- Experienced gained in handling large and/or complex risks.
- Confident with most classes of commercial insurance risk including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc.
