We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at a skilled level in a division that drives the business forward through Supply Chain Management.

The Project Manager is an integral role, and will assist in driving standardized project management methodologies, governance, methods, and tools in managing key business initiatives . The Project Manager will provide project leadership and direction through the use of project management methodologies to ensure timely and successful completion of critical business initiatives. The position of Project Manager is responsible for all delivery stages within European Supply Chain projects, from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation along with project cost and budget management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Project Manager will evaluate project feasibility, establish priorities, oversee project delivery, monitor progress, transparently communicate project status and evaluate resource utilization. This position requires excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, presentation, and communication skills, as well as leadership, decision making, facilitation and negotiation skills. The Project Manager role acts as a consultant to the departmental groups within Supply Chain and provides advice and training on best practices for managing projects. The ability to build relationships, work in a matrix environment while being adaptable/flexible and maintaining big picture thinking is a must.

Excellent analytical skills, solid financial skills, excellent written and oral communication skills are a foundation for this role. Experience implementing package applications such as Oracle, Syteline, Cognos and Tableau is preferred. This position reports to the Supply Chain Project Manager, Supply Chain Management.

• Manages projects through the various lifecycle stages from business need through design and delivery
• Supports project-chartering process and setup
• Plans, schedules and tracks projects, with related cost estimation and scope control responsibilities
• Manages project priorities, scope, budgets, timelines and expectations
• Coordinates intradepartmental projects and resources

• Maintains Supply Chain project controls that accurately reflect completed work against project plans, schedules and budgets, and ensure user/management involvement at appropriate milestones
• Reviews and assess vendor solutions and proposals
• Continually identifies, prioritizes and mitigates project risks
• Manages the team, driving motivation, collaboration and performance
• Implements "rightsized" project management processes
• Leads design and review sessions with project teams, business partners and Information Technology staff
• Tracks short-term project metrics (for example, schedule variances and customer satisfaction).
• Monitors and manages project expenditures
• Provides management with regular communication on the progress of projects and other initiatives
• Provides oversight and control of any external resources contracted to the project
• Reviews the project's medium-term benefits (for example, to support business-case process improvement)
• Monitors workload of staff to ensure team members are consistently managed and challenged
• Plays a significant role in the performance management process by providing staff with timely feedback on their involvement and delivery of project related activities

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management stakeholders

Preferred experience

• Strong MS Office product skills, Excel, Word, Microsoft Project and Powerpoint is preferred
• Manufacturing/MRP knowledge is preferred
• Oracle and Syteline experience is preferred
• Cognos and Tableau experience a plus
