Collaborating closely with the accounts assistant and directors, you'll take a proactive approach to managing finances, while also serving as a liaison with colleagues to support clients and suppliers. As an ambassador for the company, you'll play a crucial role in its successful development in alignment with its strategic business plan.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside directors to monitor and coordinate practice finances.
- Keep directors informed on all financial matters.
- Ensure all accounting communications comply with data protection, risk management, and SAR regulations.
- Uphold policies, procedures, and legal/compliance requirements about personal conduct, confidentiality, and client care.
Personal Specification:
- Possess a higher-level accounting qualification such as ACCA/CIMA
- Demonstrate financial/accounting skills including cash flow monitoring, reconciliation, and credit management.
- Have experience in payroll processing.
- Knowledgeable about GDPR and Equality Standards
- Stay up to date with MLRO regulations.
- Display forward-thinking and proactive attitudes.
- Exhibit enthusiasm in responding to opportunities.
- Possess a sound working knowledge of SRA/SAR and HMRC requirements.
- Have experience liaising with company accountants, auditors, and assessors.
- Show proficiency in implementing and developing systems.
- Demonstrate experience in financial risk management.
- Understand financial management within the legal sector.
