Job description
Job Role: Housing Needs Officer
Responsibilities:
Deliver a high-quality and customer-focused housing needs service
Tackle housing needs and prevent homelessness in accordance with legislation
Contribute to the development, cohesion, and integration of the wider housing service
Provide comprehensive housing advice and homelessness services
Proactively identify and respond to customers at risk of homelessness
Maintain accurate records and reports
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
Level 6 qualification
Vast experience in Part 7 decisions and HRA legislation
Ability to analyze complex information and negotiate effective solutions
Commitment to providing a customer-focused service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of current housing law, immigration, and related legislation
