An excellent opportunity for a UK Finance Manager
37.5 hour week (Hybrid Working)
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager or Finance Director to join a world–leading Engineering company with global career opportunities.
You will be responsible for all accounting & tax topics, managing the UK, Ireland, Nordics and Lithuania month–end submission via group reporting tools, you will be the interface for external audits, and ensure compliance while managing risk.
As a skilled finance expert, you will also lead the Audit team while working closely with the Projects Director and play a vital role in driving process improvement and technical projects.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of group consolidation tools, establish accounting papers, ensure compliance with VAT and tax requirements, improve the company's internal control processes, lead, in implementing new accounting processes and standards and become a key contact for both internal and external audit requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified accountant with ACA or ACCA accreditation, possess a good technical understanding, have proven team leadership skills, knowledge of SAP, experience in driving change, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
