We are on the search for a Data Engineer, preferable experienced on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Modern Data Stack concepts and tools to join our growing team of data and analytics experts. The hire will be responsible for optimising, maintaining, and expanding our end-to-end data platform, based on a cutting-edge technology data architecture – from the data ingestion, transformation, and delivery in our lakehouse for a team of data analysts and scientists.
The role requires understanding of data architecture and modern data stack concepts, fully cloud-based, focused on data engineering, performance, and pricing optimisation. The ideal candidate is a skilled person with experience creation of data pipelines for ingestion (using tools such as Airbyte/Fivetran or APIs), data transformation with dbt, code management using git, Kubernetes, orchestration, and infrastructure deployment with Terraform (nothing done by UI in PRD). Also, being able to define and manage their tasks using Agile methodologies with Scrum and Kanban.

2nd Stage– Video / in-person interview with the Data & Analytics Manager which will focus on your technical experience and prior project experience.
3rd Stage– Final stage with the Data & Analytics Manager which will include a case study to be submitted ahead of the interview.
