What you will do in your working day
This apprenticeship offers a pathway to develop essential skills and knowledge in various areas of business operations, including travel, vehicle fleet management, building maintenance, administration, and front-of-house reception.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide a first class administration service to the business
- Provide professional support to reception and front of house
- Preparation of meeting rooms to ensure that those using the facilities have all required tools and equipment to have the best meeting experience
- Ensure all calls are answered professionally in a timely manner – within 5 rings where possible
- Focus on reducing any unnecessary spend around the business where possible to contribute to the annual cost saving target
- Deal with all fleet administration matters in a timely manner so as to avoid engineer downtime, to keep costs to a minimum and always remember our duty of care to the driver
- Deal with all travel administration matters for all ‘customers’ of CSS, including sourcing the best rate available for all travel bookings, making sure we do not compromise on cleanliness and comfort
- Build a reliable and trustworthy relationship with all staff and customers
- Maintain up to date records of current fleet vehicles on MID and spreadsheets
- Monitor fleet vehicle accounts such as toll roads and congestion zones to ensure they are up to date and in credit
The training you will be getting
- Level 3 Business Administration at Stockton Riverside College
- Functional skills Maths & English, if required
