Job description

To provide physical, social and emotional care to our Residents as per their individual, person centred care plans. Help create and maintain a supportive, secure and homely environment where residents can achieve maximum independence, freedom and choice. Acknowledge and respect, at all times, the personal dignity of each individual and promote their rights. Participate and promote the team spirit and family ethos to achieve the above outcomes. Daily Responsibilities: Take direction from the Nurse in Charge and Senior Carers. Assist with dressing, personal care, mealtimes, support residents to eat and drink, keep the home clean & tidy, accurate record keeping, assist with activities to support the wellbeing of individuals, but most importantly, support each individual to live their lives as they wish.
Experience is not essential but a caring, friendly and outgoing nature with a passion for delivering high standards in a safe and compassionate care environment is a must. Miramar specialises in Mental Health Conditions, Learning Disabilities, some dementias, behavioural and personality disorders so you will need an interest in these areas.
You will receive all the required training which we will continue to support you in throughout your career with Miramar. Along with this, we will support you in your Personal Development and to achieve further qualifications if desired.
