Salary: £10.90 per hour (Pay award pending)

Sleeps ins - £80 per night

Avon Support is seeking a dedicated individual to support a 32-year-old lady living independently, with cerebral palsy.

The ideal candidate will serve as a reliable and compassionate assistant, fostering a strong bond with the individual and becoming an essential member of her support team. This role entails providing personalised care, utilising specialised equipment including hoists and wheelchairs, and assisting with medication management. Previous experience in caregiving, including proficiency in manual handling and epilepsy management, is essential.

Requirements:

• Compassionate demeanour with a proactive attitude
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport.
• Valid driving license for wheelchair adapted vehicle.
• Flexibility in working hours to cover weekend day shifts.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

The refer a friend scheme is worth £200 in total. This is split £100 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £100 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
