We have a fantastic opportunity for a Brand and Proposition Manager to join the Customer Proposition Team to work on Home. At Tesco we define a Proposition as a service, product or promise that delivers against a specific customer need. The Customer Proposition Team sit right at the heart of the business, leading cross-functional teams to develop long and short-term customer propositions; creating reasons for millions of customers across the globe to choose more of Tesco more often. This role is responsible for Own Brand development across tiers in the Home category and with Home one of the fastest growing markets this offers many opportunities. This role is responsible for defining and delivering the strategic plans for our business across the 6Ps working with cross-functional teams. The role will see the successful candidate using their strategic thinking and passion for customers & data to spot opportunities for the brands; responding to the latest customer trends and market activity, and working as the connection between the Customer and Product. The Hiring Manager for this vacancy is Colombine Kerboull You will be responsible for: Leading the development of the innovation pipeline Home defining the opportunities for growth and aligning with senior team at relevant stages. Creating compelling and insight-led concepts to deliver the strategic plan using the Tesco Customer Team Way tools. Working with the cross functional teams to turn concepts into propositions across the 6Ps Developing strong relationships within cross functional teams, NWTs and key stakeholders Constantly monitor the market and customer metrics in my area to proactively identify issues and opportunities I brief insight, execution (communication) and design teams to bring propositions to life as a champion of my categories and brands, ensuring good implementation of the strategy and brand guidelines. Ensuring that the strategy and brands are relevant and transferable internationally and I always think group when developing a strategy (bank, mobile, cafe etc.) You will need: Strong customer focus Strategic, logical approach to thinking & planning Confidence in analysing and distilling information and insight to make clear recommendations based on multiple data sources Commercial awareness Collaborative approach - ability to bring cross-functional teams together to achieve success Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skills and confidence in senior forums Ability to cope with ambiguity, and maintain resilience under pressure Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities from around the business Reliability and credibility Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications – particularly Excel, Word & PowerPoint What's in it for you: We offer excellent benefits that help make Tesco a great place to work!
