IT Technician

£27,855 – £29,139 per annum

25 days p/a annual leave entitlement

Our client is a small, comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys, and part of a wider 4 school trust.

The ICT Technician is responsible for assisting the ICT Systems Manager in the day-to-day functioning of the school’s ICT systems, comprising over 300 client stations and approximately 600 users. 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven IT skills including hardware and software installation, upgrade and maintenance of both Windows and Mac
• Proven record of maintaining efficient IT systems (in a school setting is preferable)
• Proven hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience including AV equipment 
• High level of team, interpersonal and communication skills
• A logical, calm, organised approach to problem solving 
• The ability to manage time effectively, multitasking and working to tight deadlines
