Job description
It is expected that the postholder will make a significant contribution to the staff teams via training, supervision, reflective practice, consultation and psychological formulation. This is welcomed by both teams, where psychology is highly valued. Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is an innovative and successful mental health and learning disability and community health trust providing services within the London boroughs of Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley. The Trust has a large, well established and supportive psychological therapies service. This provides strong leadership and professional management and supports staff by prioritising supervision and continuing professional development. Service-related research is encouraged and supported by providing protected time for these activities. There are strong links with Canterbury Christ Church University Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) Training Scheme. We have good working relationships with both managers and other senior clinicians, and psychological therapies are well represented at senior managerial and clinical levels.
