Position: Optometrist
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience + uncapped performance related bonus scheme
Working hours: Full time or part time with no late nights
Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists who are registered with the GOC
Specsavers in Gravesend are looking for an ambitious Optometrist to join their community focused team. Whether you’re newly qualified or have years of experience, they are looking for someone who is passionate about their career and providing exceptional patient care.
Celebrating their 30th birthday last year, Specsavers in Gravesend are truly a pillar of the community, who often sponsor and attend local events. You will be joining a highly successful and experienced team of 40, some who have worked in the store for over 20 years! Within the team there are fully trained Optical Assistants, Dispensing Opticians and Contact Lens Opticians meaning everyone is in place to let you focus on what you do best.
This fantastic 7 test room store has all the latest clinical equipment including two OCT’s and Phoropters in every test room. The Directors are leading the way for clinical and professional progression, making Gravesend the perfect place to advance your career as they really encourage and support this.
The store is conveniently located in the Thamesgate Shopping Centre, there are excellent public transport links and if driving there is parking available at a discounted rate. Gravesend is located on the south bank of the Thames Estuary, near the town of Dartford and surrounded by the Kent countryside. It has direct train routes to London as well as quick access to the A2 and M25 – Gravesend really is perfect for those who want to be based close to the hustle and bustle of London while still being able to enjoy the beautiful countryside and historic villages that Kent has to offer.
