Role Overview: eSIM Go, a pioneering force in the telecommunications sector, is on the hunt for a Senior Financial Analyst to spearhead our financial analytics and modelling initiatives. As we gear up for a new phase of strategic growth, we're looking for not just an analyst but a trailblazer; someone who's ready to dive deep into the numbers, chart out the unseen, and build frameworks that will shape the future of our financial decision-making. Responsibilities:
- Financial Modelling and Analysis: Design, develop, and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making regarding a range of financial and operational issues including but not limited to pricing strategies, revenue forecasting, and investment opportunities.
- Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Play a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including variance analysis, trend forecasting, and the development of actionable strategies to support eSIMGO's growth and profitability objectives.
- Data Analytics and Trend Identification: Leverage advanced data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in large datasets. Work closely with the data team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and provide insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a financial liaison to sales, data, and other departments, ensuring alignment on financial goals, sharing insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the company.
- Framework Development and Process Improvement: As the inaugural holder of this role, you'll be tasked with establishing and continuously improving the financial analytics frameworks and processes, setting the standard for excellence within the organisation.
- Reporting and Presentation: Generate timely and accurate financial reports, and present complex financial information and models in a clear and concise manner to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the telecommunications, MVNO, or similar tech-driven industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
