Tradewind are recruiting for a PMLD Teache r to start ASAP, full time & long term for an outstanding special needs school in South Manchester catering for young people aged 3-16 with Autism, Complex Needs and PMLD.

* Both Primary & Secondary Teachers with SEND experience as well as Special Needs Teachers invited to apply.

Start ASAP, full time.

Expected to last until July 2024.

Could turn permanent for the right person.

Hours - Mon 8:30am - 3:30pm

Excellent pay up to £200/day depending on experience & qualifications for the first 12 weeks and parity pay to what the school would pay you on contract from 13th week onward.

We pay PAYE direct with Tradewind. We don't use umbrella pay companies.

Easily accessible by tram, bus and car, bus.

Pupils all have an EHCP for Complex Needs or PMLD and are grouped by needs & levels rather than strictly by age therefore you will need to be able to teach across a range of activities using a a variety of learning methods & strategies. The class will have no more than 10 students with SEND TA support.

This South Manchester school is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and as such they are looking for teachers that have high aspirations and standards. They have fantastic facilities and strong links with other schools, outside agencies and parents. The headteacher and senior management all have many years experience in the special needs sector and really understand the challenges that their SEND Teacher and SEN Teaching Assistant staff face on a daily basis. They focus on safety, inclusion and holistic outcomes while striving for each pupil to reach their full potential.

To join us and be successful in this South Manchester PMLD Teacher role, you will need to:

• QTS, QTLS or other relevant teaching qualification.
• Have an enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be happy to apply for a new one).
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
• Minimum of 2 professional references.
• Provide a CV with a full history.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
