Job description
Are you an experienced Payroll Officer who has an understanding of working with external contractors and multi currencies, along with knowledge of IR35 and GDPR compliance. If so we have a fantastic opportunities for a Payroll Officer to join our global client on new role to look after the daily contractor operations. This role will pay up to £40k + benefits. This is a fully office based role and the office is located in Cannock.
About the role:
·This will include the full remit from setting up the contracts, managing the weekly time sheet processing and expense verification alongside managing any un billed items.
·Payroll administration duties
·You will need to work very closely the Management accountant on ensuring accurate pay and bill set up and ensuring compliance across their internal CRM system.
·Any monetary changes need to be handled efficiently and in a timely fashion and you will need to manage and reconcile missing time reports.
·You will also need to maintain relationships with the external umbrella companies at all time keeping the business compliant with IR35 and GDPR regulations.
·You will monitor the contract on boarding documentation and also work with them on all tax documentation. Alongside being the finance representative for all legal administration for contract processing you will also run all monthly billing to clients and reconcile time sheets accordingly to customer contracts and invoices.
·You will need to coordinate the payroll runs with the outside service provider for all locations across the UK and Europe and ensure all employees are paid correctly. Alongside this you will need to assist accounting with recording all payroll entries to the ledger and support the Finance Manager with any additional projects.
About you:
·Understanding of IR35 and GDPR in line with external contractors
·Payroll administration experience
·Ideally you will be able to start in the next month
·Ability to work independently and have strong attention to detail.
·Advanced Excel skills are a must in the role especially utilising pivot tables and VLookup.
·Experience in accruals and reconciliation's and payroll processing.
