Mechanical Design Engineer - Medical Device

Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Design Engineer: .

• Contribute to the design of new product development and innovation.
• Design and Development of complex sub-assemblies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development processes.
• Ensuring compliance with design and development procedures in accordance with medical device standards
• Documentation Control
• Testing
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of plastic injection moulding processes.

Qualifications and Requirements of a Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar with a minimum of a 2:1 classification.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in the medical device or other high-regulatory industries.
• Strong Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles, materials and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in Solidworks is highly beneficial, although not a deal-breaker.
• Experience with plastic injection moulding (Desirable)
