Thank you for your interest in the post of Teacher of English at St Nicholas Catholic High School. This is a full time, permanent position to start in September 2024, or earlier depending on the availability of the successful candidate. We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English with a passion and vision for learning and teaching in Languages across all Key Stages - a highly effective practitioner who will make a difference by inspiring a love of learning in their students. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, forward thinking, and progressive department which is keen to build upon the many successes within the school’s external inspection reports from both the Diocese and Ofsted.
St Nicholas has made significant progress with the continuous development of the curriculum we deliver to our students. The successful candidate will benefit from teaching in a department which offers comprehensive and robust schemes of learning, incisive planned assessments, and is fully resourced. Coupled with this is an unwavering commitment to the bespoke professional development of every member of our teaching staff.
