As a Logistics Operative, you will play a vital role in the Logistical support of the Royal Air Force, helping to fulfil its operational and peacetime obligations. You will be responsible for the distribution, handling, and stock control of a diverse range of commodities such as aircraft parts, fuels, explosives and ammunition and other materials required to support the most technologically advanced aircraft, helping to sustain a modern Whole Force team. You will work alongside Serco and RAF colleagues to achieve the daily operational output within the storage and warehouse areas as well as within an office environment, potentially managing classified RAF assets.

We currently have positions available in the Ground Fuels Department and the Demand Progression Department. Are you a team player and focused on delivering key customer service? We want to hear from you! 

• Delivery of excellent customer service
• Frequent use of IT systems to manage emails and stock control
• Storekeeping and day to day management of stock
• Issuing & receipt of goods

• Full UK driving licence
• Must be able to achieve SC Security Clearance (Serco will sort this on your behalf!)
• Experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment would be an advantage however, training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Must be a team player with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
• Be computer proficient and able to use the inhouse IT systems.
• A counterbalance forklift licence would be desirable for some of our roles but training can be provided.
