The Opportunity…

At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

We are looking for an NEC Supervisor (Mechanical & Electrical) to manage a team of Construction Superintendents and Field Engineers to take responsibility for activities in the field relating to Construction and equipment installation Surveillance of HPC, and its on-site facilitation.

In your role, you will take on Team Leader duties within the Mechanical & Electrical Phase of the Project, but may also be required to take on the role of NEC Supervisor for one or more contracts.

You will be embedded in the wider Site Quality Surveillance Team and will work with other Surveillance Team Leaders to formulate and define procedures and strategies.

You will require a range of technical skills and competences, management and communication skills, construction awareness and knowledge of various EDF Standard Nuclear Project Procedures and Safety Procedures.
