Job description
My client is a specialist water treatment company providing rapidly deployable solutions to the Construction, Food and Wastewater Industries. In the past three years the Company has undergone rapid expansion into new markets and is therefore looking to take on more staff.
The successful candidate will join the one of the project engineering team and be responsible for the development and delivery of solutions from the detailed scope supplied by the sales team through to equipment delivery schedules and onsite installation and commissioning.
This role will engage with sales, design and operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of the company's projects.
Responsibilities will include:
General:
- Active involvement in all aspects of the development of solutions, design and delivery of projects for the rental or turnkey solutions.
- Attend site meetings with Client or suppliers in the development of solutions, identifying constraints and details of the solution requirements
- Preparation of design information; P&IDs, layout plants, control philosophies and plant specifications for project specific or product development
- Assist the Operational teams by ensure clear solution information is presented and provide continued support to internal teams and Client through to commissioning
- Active in the Operational areas providing to support to product assembly and installation works in workshop and onsite during installations to Client
- Working with Technical Sales team members liaise with the Client and associated contractors and suppliers to ensure that the scope of works is clearly defined
- Ensure suppliers and customers (internal/external) are dealt with professionally and promptly at all times
Quality, Health, Safety, Environment:
- Positive attitude in QHSE behaviours and in the implementation of the company's QHSE policies and procedures or site specific rules when visiting Clients.
- Provide support to teams in the provision of information for the preparation of RAMS, which may include liaison with other suppliers / sub-contractors.
Requirements
- Well organised and able to prioritise work with effective problem solving outlook and a positive communication skill set
- Strong attention to detail, particularly on engineering principles.
- Engineering qualified (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental)
- Relevant industry experience / interest is desirable with practical outlook
- High level of integrity and a strong work ethic, being professional with a mature manner
- Must be flexible, adaptable and able to learn quickly
- People person - active team player and willing to be involved in all aspects of the
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and operational environments
