CHEMICAL PROCESSING PLANT REQUIRES A SITE GENERAL MANAGER / PLANT MANAGER WITH A CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR CHEMICAL INDUSTRY BACKGROUND TO OPTIMIZE PLANT PERFORMANCE AND MAXIMISE PROFITABILITY
ROLE: Plant Manager – Chemical Plant Operations
LOCATION: Stoke on Trent, and surrounding areas
Previous Job Titles: Plant Manager, Site Manager, Process Engineer, General Manager, Operations Manager, Chemical Production Manager, Chemical Engineer, Hazardous Waste Transfer Station Operations Manager
You may have worked in one of the following backgrounds: Hazardous Waste Management or Chemical Production / Manufacturing including: solvents, adhesives, thinners, resins, paint, acids, alkalis, adhesives, cosmetics, liquids, petroleum, oil, fuels, paraffin, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical

My client is a leading national Waste Management and Recycling services provider; they can offer progression and development to the right candidate
ROLE: Plant Manager – Chemical Plant Operations
The hazardous waste chemical plant manager / plant manager will be responsible for the overall running of a hazardous waste processing site
You will manage a small team
You will be responsible for driving forward the performance of the operation
EXPERIENCE: Plant Manager – Chemical Plant Operations
You MUST HAVE a proven track record in hazardous waste treatment or chemical production or a related production position.
You will have experience of managing a team and P&L accountability for your operation
You will have a background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or something closely related and demonstrable production, processing or manufacturing experience
Experience on a COMAH site would be an advantage
Useful WAMITAB COTC4, NEBOSH, IOSH, and any business management qualifications welcomed.
You MUST demonstrate stability in previous roles, specifically in a people management role.
