We are looking for a dynamic Senior Enterprise Manager, Newcastle.

Leading the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub in the Newcastle region in England, you will build a strong and credible network of key stakeholders, champion engineering, and technology entrepreneurs, ensuring they have skills, networks, and resources at their disposal to succeed in their entrepreneurial endeavour.

The role

Your impact on the future of engineering innovation locally will be considerable; with significant autonomy to operate, you will be an integral part in successfully starting up and growing the Enterprise Hub in these areas. With this in mind, we are looking for an exceptional professional. With the people skills to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from entrepreneurs, research, industry, and Government locally, you will bring significant experience of supporting engineering and technology innovators and a good knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship policy.

Naturally, you should be adept at managing networks, leading projects and interpreting technical material. You will share our deep passion for engineering, technology, and entrepreneurship. A business development background would be very useful, but it’s your relationship management and commitment to delivery, that will matter most.

Location

This is a hybrid role with at least two days a week at a city centre location in Newcastle.
