About Our Client

Our client is looking for support in their Financial Accountants department on a temporary basis for 3-6 months.

Job Description

The Interim Financial Accountant responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with the Management Accountants, external auditors and tax consultants to produce the annual statutory accounts.
• Liaise with our external tax consultants to assist in the preparation of the tax computation for inclusion in the statutory accounts.
• The main contact for any tax related queries including corporation tax, deferred tax, insurance premium tax and VAT.
• Prepare and submit the VAT return
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of the month end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Take ownership of month-end reporting requirements

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a fully qualified Accountant ( ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or a qualified-by-experience (QBE) accountant with experience matching the job description.

You will have experience in producing annual statutory Accounts in the UK, filing VAT returns and balance sheet recs.

You will be able to attend the office near Milton Keynes 2-3 days per week. Parking is provided.

You will have full UK right to work.

Please note this role is inside IR35
