Job description
To undertake patient-centred assessments which identifies areas where the person wishes to see change and or recovery and makes an accurate assessment of risk to self and others. To make decisions on suitability for Talking Therapies adhering to the departments referral protocols, refers unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or steps-up the persons treatment to high intensity psychological therapy. To adhere to an agreed activity contact target relating to the overall number of client contacts offered, and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient. To make detailed clinical notes and complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service. To engage in regular case management and clinical supervision. To participate in the planning and facilitation of groups as and when required by the service.
