They are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Support Workers for their Supported Living Services in Ipswich, Suffolk, committed people who will go above and beyond to make life amazing for the people they support! Their Charity supports 16 adults with Learning Disabilities/Autism to lead fulfilling and independent lives whilst being active members of the community.
Our client is an Excellent CQC-rated Supported Living Service that provides individualised and proactive support to enable individuals to become as independent as possible within the community. Our client comprises three beautiful houses, close to the town centre, designed to meet a variety of individual needs and preferences.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reports to: Team Leader Hours of work: 32 hours per week. Each
shift covers 4 pm – 10 pm, sleep-in, 8 am – 10 am. That will include weekends.
Salary: £10.66 per hour. £43 is paid per sleep-in. Place of work: Our client’s Community
Houses, homes to 16 adults with learning disabilities Contract type: Permanent
The main purpose of the role:
As a Support Worker, you will support adults with learning disabilities in line with agreed support and care plans, in all aspects of their everyday lives. You will deliver practical, physical and emotional support to people with learning disabilities, whilst proactively promoting choice, independence and self-determination.
You will:
Be an enthusiastic, well-motivated and committed support worker have a good knowledge and understanding of person-centred care approaches be an outstanding care practitioner with experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities hold a valid driving licence and be able to drive as part of your duties
