What you will do in your working day

• Mechanical fitting and assembly
• Electrical Assembly/Panel building
• Machinery alignment and commissioning
• Machinery installation/commissioning

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Product Design and Development Technician pathway is delivered in the workplace with 1 extended day a week attendance at college for the first two years.

L3 Engineering Technician Standard

• L2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
• L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
• L3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) Product Design and Development

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The apprenticeship has the potential to progress to a permanent position and to full multi skilled status after consolidation period.
