Job Description:

As a Dental Nurse with our Dental Practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Assisting Dentists:

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists during various dental treatments and procedures.
• Provide chairside support, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Handle dental materials and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and update patient charts.

Patient Care and Support:

• Welcome and reassure patients, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by dentists.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as preparing dental impressions and models.
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Maintain a clean and organized dental environment for efficient workflow.

Administrative Tasks:

• Assist with reception duties, including appointment scheduling and record management.
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and practice policies.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and hygienic working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Dental Nurse qualification and registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Knowledge of dental procedures and treatments.
• Proficiency in dental radiography techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
