Software Engineer – C++ or C#

A fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer/ Developer with proficient knowledge in either C++ or C# to join an industry-leading software company with offices in Leicestershire. Location:2 days a week in Leicestershire / 3 days remote (easier to reach if you drive but public transport links from Market Harborough, Leicester and Rugby).

Salary:£30,000 – £45,000 per annum + benefits

Requirements for Software Engineer – C++ or C#

• Commercial programming experience in C++ or C#.NET
• 2.2 honours degree or above in a relevant subject with a high Computer Science content i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Engineering
• Excellent object-oriented programming knowledge
• Passion for coding and interest in software development
• Self-motivated
• Fantastic communication skills

Responsibilities  for Software Engineer – C++ or C#

You will join either the C# desktop application team or the C++ Business Components and Integration team and be responsible for:

• Development and maintenance of high-quality software applications
• Collaboration with software development, testers, and product management teams
• Involvement in both technical and business aspects of the product
• Identify the risks and create a plan of actions
• Identify the issues and implement the resolutions
• Contribution to software design
• Meet the deadlines and uphold the high standard
