Job description

A new and exciting opportunity within our wonderful school for a dedicated, compassionate and ambitious Lay Chaplain. 

Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is a growing, happy and vibrant 11 – 16 secondary school. We are looking to appoint a faithful Lay Chaplain to enjoy our friendly support staff team.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people, have excellent knowledge of Roman Catholic worship and be able to inspire our young people at different stages on their journey of faith. They will have experience of designing, leading and evaluating Collective Worship and working with young people to do the same. They will have a strong understanding of scripture, Catholic practice and of the liturgical year. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our young people and help them to grow to be the very best version of themselves. 

The person appointed to this role will join a supportive team and report directly to our Senior Lay Chaplain.
