Job description

The Senior Transformation Manager will provide leadership and project management skills to support the planning, implementation and delivery of key transformation programmes and projects within the areas of living with and beyond cancer, urgent care and treatment variation to enable delivery of the Cancer Alliance objectives and priorities. The post holder will lead a team of project and specialist staff and line manage project managers and project support staff within the Cancer Alliance team. The Senior Transformation Manager will be senior members of the Cancer Alliance team. They will be required to consistently operate with political awareness, personal influence and skill, working effectively with external partners across Cheshire and Merseyside including providers, commissioners, NHS England, regulators, patients and carers to deliver project objectives. The post holders will represent the Cancer Alliance at various Cheshire and Merseyside wide forums, including public meetings and will act in an autonomous capacity. The Cancer Alliance is hosted by The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust.
