Inside Sales Engineer

Are you a Technical Sales Engineer looking for your next challenge?

As an Inside Sales Engineer will serve as the company's first technical point of contact and will be tasked with proactively guiding and overseeing the application phase of sales. Acting as a liaison between Customers and Contracts/Engineering teams. You will develop strong relationships, handle technical inquiries, provide quotations, and procure solutions tailored to customer requirements.

Skills Required:

• Possession of an HNC in electrical engineering or completion of an equivalent apprenticeship program.
• Ideally, hold a degree in electrical, electronic, or control engineering (DESIRABLE)
• Demonstrated previous similar experience in a similar capacity.
• Customer-centric approach with exceptional communication abilities.
• Technically minded, including the ability to interpret and convey technical data.
• Familiarity with either large OEMs and contractors or international clients. (DESIRABLE)
• Exposure to or knowledge of high-power or high-voltage systems. (DESIRABLE)

Responsibilities:

• Handing customer inquiries – Initial communication, Assessing & comprehending customer needs, Develop designs & cost effective solutions, Generate detailed and accurate quotations, Follow up on quotations.
• Educate both new and existing customers about their products and provide pre-sales technical support.
• Ensure Swift processing of orders and transmit necessary information to correct department.
• Keep customers informed about status of their orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities.
• Conduct occasional site visits and meet with customers as required.
• Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers to gain insight into their needs.
