- Job Title: Airport Minibus Driver
- Pay Rate: £11.70 to £12.01 per hour
- Location: Luton Airport
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off ( 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
- Typical Shifts:
- 05:00 to 17:00 or 17:00 to 05:00 (Must be flexible for both days and nights)
- Start date: ASAP
- Temp to Perm (performance based)
Are you interested in a career in the aviation sector? Optime are looking for Airport Minibus Driver to join a prestigious client at Luton Airport. This role is open to applicants who have no previous security experience and a genuine interest in aviation, customer service and security.
All necessary training will be fully paid and provided by sector experts including support in obtaining relevant background checks. There is on-site mentoring and clear career pathways leading to specialist management roles within our team, so think big!
Main duties:
- Driving a 9 seater minibus from the mid stay carpark to the terminal and from the terminal to mid stay car park.
- Assisting guests onto and off the minibus and helping with any luggage.
- Assist passengers from the minibus to the terminal by foot.
- Collecting equipment from the midstay car park.
- Direct customers to the right location/assist if needed
- Any additional reasonable duties, as assigned by operational management.
Typical Shifts:
- 05:00-17:00 12 hrs - £11-70 PH ( 4 ON 4 OFF)
- 17:00-05:00 12 hrs - £12-01 PH ( 4 ON 4 OFF)
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Great work ethic
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong Customer Service
- Self-motivated and willing to work using own initiative.
- To multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Previous airport experience is an advantage but not essential.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving licence (No more than 3 points)
- Passport or Birth Certificate
- UK Settled Status (If applicable)
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of (current) Address
- 5 Year Address History
- 5 Year Work Reference History
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic DBS record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
