We’re delighted to introduce an exciting Brand & Communications Officer opportunity within a local not-for-profit organisation, known for providing valuable support and resources to its members. Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm (35 hours)
- Hybrid working – 3 days working from home, 2 days in office
Salary and benefits:
- £34,900 – £38,585
- 25 days’ annual leave (+ 8 bank holidays)

Duties and responsibilities:
- Working with an agency to manage the organisation’s PR activity
- Taking responsibility for PR campaigns and plans, coordinating sign offs and interviews
- Supporting the development of an annual integrated campaign to improve brand health and awareness
- Creating engaging content for internal and external communications channels
- Working closely with colleagues to form a unified organisation, embed culture, values and help the organisation speak with a common voice and purpose
- Shaping and delivering influencer strategies that amplify brand storytelling and drives awareness
- Leading the development of planning case stories and testimonials to help humanise the brand
- Working to an agreed budget associated with the brand and communications plan
Skills and experience required:
- Relevant degree / qualification in marketing, communications or another relevant subject OR equivalent knowledge gained through practical experience
- Proven evidence of developing and implementing brand, PR and communications, as well as the creative development and production process of integrated campaigns
- Experience of working with external agencies (such as advertising, PR, design agencies)
- In-depth and up-to-date understanding of PR / communications news, trends and best practice
- Confidence managing projects from brief to delivery, within budget
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to from strong stakeholder relationships
