Salary: £316.33 per day
The Specialist ICT Analyst (Team Lead) post is required to assist the DEVOPs manager in managing the application support & development team within OneSource ICT. You will be required to manage between 8 and 12 staff within the team in the support and provide application support for key line of business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Provide application support for key line of business services within a windows, MsSQL and Oracle environment.
2) Manage application support team staff and processes in the day-to-day delivery of IT Applications supporting services.
3) Work with the DEVOPS manager to review team performance to identify & address any skills/support shortages within the team.
4) Take on line management duties for up to 12 staff.
5) Assist in setting team appraisal targets and monitor progress via regular one to one’s
6) Coordinating day to day application support calls and making sure they are being progressed within the agreed SLA’s.
Manage planned BAU Application upgrades/patching with team resources and ensure systems and applications are stable and fully functional after any system application change or release has taken place
Key Requirements:
1) Previous experience in an a Support Team Lead position or similar.
2) Experience in troubleshooting & supporting client server and web server environments within a Windows Server & Microsoft MsSQL DB environment (Essential)
3) Experience of Oracle for Windows server DB environments (preferable)
4) Team leadership, coordination and prioritisation skills.
5) Strong understanding of ITSM & ITIL processes.
6) Ability to confidently engage with senior business representatives.
7) Ability to manage staff to improve service delivery
8) Experience in delivering exceptional, customer focused and service driven support.
9) Ability to effectively analyse and resolve complex system problems.
10) Ability to successfully coordinate team member’s priorities and tasks.
11) Experience of working in a rapidly changing IT environment.
12) Commercial experience in testing web or Back Office applications is desirable but not required.
13) Experience in Insurance is not essential, however a plus.
