Job description

This is a Gloucestershire County Council job.

 

This is an exciting time for Gloucestershire libraries with a lot of change and development.We have been awards Arts Council National Portfolio status which spans from 2023 to 2027. The role of Customer Development Coordinator will be a crucial support for our 32 library sites on the programming and delivery of activity.  

 

The role will be a key part of the development team and work closely with the allocated library teams. Key area of work will include partnership development, event management, producing and data collection. This role will work closely with the other full time Customer Development Coordinator who will lead on marketing and audience development aspects of the role.  

 

About you  

 

We are looking for a positive, outgoing team player to work with internal staff, communities and partners to deliver a forward thinking and relevant programme of events and activities. Some knowledge of event management and partnership development is preferable. Other areas of critera that would be desirable include; income generation, marketing, digital and innovation and analysis of data and insights.  

 

The role is a fixed term contract of 12 Months. This can/may be extended depending on the achievements in the first six months.
