Job description

Pulse is now seeking to recruit a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the A&E department within an NHS trust based in Prescot, Lancashire. The post is available for the successful physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours per week for an initial 4-week placement with a view to extend.

The postholder will provide critical support to patients in the emergency department, addressing their injuries and musculoskeletal issues, and assisting them on the path to recovery. The successful candidate will conduct assessments of patients with injuries or problems in the A&E department. Applying therapists should have previous experience in a similar role.

To be considered for this role you must: 

• Have previous experience in a similar NHS role
• Have HCPC registration 
• Good communication skills 
• Manual handling experience 
• Hold the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy
