TEACHING ASSISTANTS LEVEL 3 PERMANENT POSTS
Starting: ASAP
Nether Hall School is a very effective, well-resourced special school for pupils aged 4-19 years who have severe & profound learning difficulties.
The school is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistants working 32½ hours per week for 39 weeks (school term time + 5 training days).
Salary: LG Band 5, Points 11- 14, £26,421 - £28,770 pro-rata.
Actual starting salary, point 5:
Less than 5 yrs service with the Local Authority £20,029; (Plus SEN allowance of £1177)
The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification and GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths as detailed in the job specification. Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.

Closing date: Wednesday, 12th March 2024 at 12 noon.Interview date: Week Commencing 18th March 2024The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS check.
Applicants will also be required to undertake pre-employment checks which will include a declaration that neither they, nor anyone who lives in the same household, is a disqualified person under the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2018 as well as other necessary checks.
Online checks will also be carried out on shortlisted candidates in line with KCSIE recommendations.
