Are you a creative primary teacher looking for a new full-time teaching position?
A one-form entry primary school in Tooting are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and innovative qualified primary teacher with high expectations to join their teaching team in January to provide a maternity cover in year 1
The role
In this role you will taking full class teaching responsibilities for a year 1 class to cover a permanent member of staff’s maternity leave. The class have settled well in to the new academic year and are making good progress. There are pupils working at all ability levels and you will have support from a dedicated team of teaching assistants to ensure all pupils are able to access learning activities.
The school are looking for an experienced, engaging and dedicated primary teacher or an ECT with experience in KS1. You should have good curriculum knowledge and will be able to bring an creative and enthusiastic approach to bring subjects to life. Good classroom management and differentiation skills are important.
This role is offered on a 1 year contract initially but has the potential to become a permanent role.

You will be joining a diverse and friendly community primary school in the heart of the Tooting. The school welcomes children of all faiths and celebrates diversity. As a 1-form-entry school, they work closely together as a staff team and there is a family atmosphere. Children at the school are well-behaved and make good progress in all areas of learning.
