Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Brentwood
Salary: £100 - £230 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full-time

Are you passionate about inspiring students with the beauty of language and literature? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic English Teachers to join our secondary schools in Brentwood. As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students in the wonders of the English language, nurturing their literacy skills and fostering a love for reading and writing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves and explore new ideas.
  • Inspire a love for literature through engaging texts and stimulating discussions, encouraging critical thinking and analysis.
  • Develop students' writing skills through structured activities and feedback, helping them to communicate effectively and creatively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the English learning experience.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in English.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to promoting literacy and supporting students' personal and academic development.
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
