Job description

Pulse is currently seeking a determined Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s team, within a fantastic NHS trust based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. This position will be available for the assigned Clinical Psychologist to start on 01.11.23, working full-time hours with the placement due to end on 31.03.24.

The Clinical Psychologist will provide a comprehensive clinical psychology service to cancer MDTs at the Hospital, as part of the Clinical Psychology Cancer Service. The successful candidate will provide specialised assessment and evidence-based interventions to referred patients with complex physical and psychological health need, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Trusts policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
• Be HCPC registered
• Have a proven track record in adult mental health
• Be analytical and show good attention to detail
