Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Machine Operatorto work in their leading facility in Telford.

The starting salary for this role is £30,390 with increases as experience and competence signed off.

For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering;

1. Starting salary of £30,390 with excellent progression opportunities.
2. 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights, 05:55 - 18:05/17:55 - 06:05
3. Permanent role
4. 28 days holiday

As a Machine Operator your responsibilities will be to:

1. Ensure products meet high quality standards
2. Run the plant to standard operating procedures, which includes start-ups and changeovers
3. Liaising with plant development teams for improvement on standards
4. Maintain records on and hourly/daily basis, completing gap analysis
5. Ensuring observable standards are achieved for the line
6. Ensure safe working practices
7. Support training of process staff
8. Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

i. Machine operating experience- ESSENTIAL
ii. Experience within a food manufacturing environment - PREFERRED
iii. Ability to focus and complete jobs methodically
iv. Excellent organizational skills
v. Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal
vi. Excellent punctuality and attendance
vii. Excellent attention to detail
