Location: HMP Wakefield
Type of Contract: Locum, Ongoing contract
Hourly Rate: £32.50 - £35 per hour (assignment rate)

Requirements of the Prison RMN/Nurse:
- Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health)
- Must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison
- Knowledge in therapeutic interventions such as CBT or Steps to Wellbeing is desirable but transferable clinical skills will be considered with appropriate training provided.
Main Duties:
- You’ll carry out – and potentially develop – nurse-led clinics, review patients’ histories, undertake relevant examinations and tests, organise any necessary treatment, and refer patients to other healthcare professionals when you need to.
- You will also be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse and mental health teams. You will have an interest in Substance Misuse and have had some exposure to this environment.
