Our Hire Controllers are the heart of the depot and the ones who make it all happen. Experience as a Hire Controller or similar in Modular Buildings in the Hire Industry is a distinct advantage.
The purpose of the role is to assist and work closely with the assigned Regional Sales Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day sales and administration duties. To always demonstrate excellent customer service and ensure administration processes are both accurate and timely.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
Provide first class customer service to internal and external customers.
Prepare hire contracts, quotations, and any other necessary correspondence.
Play an active role in strategic development work including supporting business development campaign
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and best rates.
Handle enquiries and source new business.
Record enquiries and SIC (Source of enquiry code)
Follow up quotations and enquiries in a timely manner.
Comply with all company policies and procedures including adherence to all H & S policies.
Raise relevant capex’s, factored sales, and unit disposal/sale forms through company intranet.
Awareness of monthly KPI’s and assist in meeting or exceeding targets.
Awareness of customer Service Level Agreements and compliance with these SLA’s.
Liaise with Yard Foreman/Chargehand to ensure planning of work and meeting deadlines.
To be able to work in a pressurised and busy environment, taking responsibility and acting on personal initiative when required.
Planning own workload and being able to multitask
Monitor and resolve purchase ledger and Sales Ledger queries in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic Excel skills are essential.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload.
Numerate.
IT literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
