Who we're looking for
We're looking for a Lead Analyst to join our Client Static Data team to provide client data management services for all Schroders Wealth Management entities worldwide. You will be a Client Static Data subject matter expert with responsibility for a range of tasks, ensuring these are executed in a timely and professional manner.
As a Lead Analyst you will be able to handle the most complex issues throughout their lifecycle working with our Investment, Operations and Accounting colleagues. You will also be responsible for the day to day processing of instructions, being an escalation point for other team members, managing risk and maintaining a close collaboration with the different business partners to optimise workflows.
You will be experienced and be able to independently carry out processes, as well as challenging current processes to ensure continuous development by helping create and implement enhancements to systems.
Oversight of the team daily production will form part of your role, with any issues and risks raised to the team manager in a timely fashion. Supporting the team manager with reviewing work performed by team members and their progress towards objectives will also be key.

The Schroders Campus
You'll be based at Schroders Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. That's home to our operational teams, product reporting and operational oversight for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
What you'll do
• Perform team oversight of production on a daily basis and provide timely updates to the team manager on any issues and risks;
• Lead the day-to-day processing of instructions, making sure we meet internal and external deadlines;
• Support the team manager with reviewing the work performed by team members and their progress towards objectives;
• Maintain and set up client Masterfiles (incl. opening of accounts and portfolios), Third Party Customers, intragroup entities, custodians, correspondent banks, brokers, and other counterparties;
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy demonstrated by reducing errors and proactively identifying issues;
• Provide support and advisory services to the Global Wealth Management teams in UK, Guernsey and Singapore;
• Maintain client reporting scheduler including setup of third-party recipient addresses;
• Manage client fees including special fee setup and setup for fee calculation for Independent Financial Advisors;
• Setup and maintain clients online reporting service for eServices and for e-library;
• Maintenance of debit/credit interest records on client accounts and interest rates on account groups;
• Preparation, administration and technical closure of accounts and/or portfolios;
• Manage high volumes of instructions through prioritisation, according to risk or deadlines;
• Assist in the training and development of staff to help foster strong careers within the business;
• Meet the needs of our stakeholders and clients, establishing strong working relationships with internal functions and external counterparties;
• Lead team projects and implement new processes;
• Proactively drive the business strategy within the team and ensure team members understand the vision;
• Drive root cause analysis to ensure issues are resolved at source;
• Continually challenge legacy processes and refine, ensuring the team and business continues to evolve;
• Represent the team in internal and external meetings, helping to coordinate the flow of communication and implement any changes;
• Recognise and lead the need to deliver positive change and continual improvement for the business, listening to ideas from the team (and others) save time and cost, reduce risk and improve service quality;
• Be a role model for the team in process best practice in all areas of Client Static Data including time management, prioritisation, collaboration, stakeholder management, ownership, accountability and displaying an innovation mindset.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• Several years of experience in a bank, asset or wealth management working with client data including account/portfolio opening and maintenance;
• Experience in managing team members, through supporting managers or directly managing a team;
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements covering COBS, FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS);
• Understanding of operational risks and control frameworks;
• Proficient in software T24 and FOLIO;
• Intermediate experience of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) certified or equivalent.
